Haven’t felt much difference in my shoulder the last couple of months. It’s my fault, as I haven’t been working on it. Generally: if I don’t use it – it feels great! When I do use it, muscles over-react and aren’t happy with me. It’s slowly gotten better since say, 6 months ago, but it isn’t quite what I’d hoped for as a new norm. I haven’t completely given up but . . .
It is better than it was before surgery. Before surgery, it hurt all the time except for small windows. Kind of wonder if it was endorphins from exercise that helped when it occasionally felt better.
Lesson learned: do physical therapy every day no matter what. Keep doing it forever. And ever.
I know one would expect more for a one year evaluation, but I have other things taxing my energy. Can't think of much else to say. Trying to keep a positive attitude that 12-14 months recovery is normal.
